·         Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) – an endocrine disorder that displays heterogeneous symptoms that affects approximately 7% of women (De La Luz Nieto, 2016). The cause of PCOS is unknown and appears to be genetic in nature. Clinical manifestations of PCOS can present with anovulation, amenorrhea, obesity, hirsutism, oligomenorrhea and/or elevated LH and androgen levels (De La Luz Nieto, 2016). This patient presents with the several of the clinical manifestations of PCOS and therefore this would be my primary diagnosis for her.
